The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance
The rising star boasts considerable online presence
The young golfer can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates multiple courses worldwide and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically suggested to compete and relax," she added.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, Kai has competed in only three events this year and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to compete, have fun, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face some of top competitors in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.
The young star has millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle label.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
