FC Barcelona Set to Play First Fixture at Upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday

Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Basque side in the Spanish league 30 months following their departure so building work could begin.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said finished work included a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.
