Eulogies Flow for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

More than two weeks following the shocking loss of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, friends and colleagues persist in remembering the pair.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he finally felt ready to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can at last articulate my loss into words," wrote Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner left him smitten. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor posted archival material from the production, remarking that he cannot recall "any day without joy".

"The movie is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Values that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I think of you." He concluded with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Colleague and Comrade

In a different essay, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he comprehended the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese added.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official decided to prevent the publication of the Reiners' autopsy reports, following a petition from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A legal directive placed a security hold on the cases to limit the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of murder, with a record citing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the killings, public individuals expressed different comments.

Former President Donald Trump posted on the matter, providing divisive claims that were broadly criticized by many individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the detractors recently. Talking on his podcast, Rogan characterized the comments as "shocking" and remarked they demonstrated a troubling lack of empathy.

Rogan ended by proposing that an associate could have acted when the decision to comment on the passing was made.
